Our Products
We design and manufacture advanced gauze and recovery systems used across nitric acid, fertilizer, sodium nitrite/nitrate, caprolactam, and cyanide production. Our solutions help improve catalyst performance, reduce precious metal loss, and increase the long-term economics of each production cycle. Every product is developed with attention to process-specific parameters, ensuring operational efficiency and measurable performance gains.
Advanced multilayer catalyst gauze and recovery systems engineered for peak process performance in nitric acid, nitrite/nitrate, caprolactam, and cyanide production. Each system is customized to plant conditions, with structure, wire diameter, and layer sequencing optimized to improve ammonia conversion, enhance selectivity, and reduce precious-metal losses. Designs draw on proven approaches used in the industry, such as alloy layering and advanced gauze knitting, to achieve uniform gas flow, mechanical integrity, and extended service life. This leads to longer campaigns, lower emissions, cleaner processes, and stronger overall economics for operators.
Designed for mono and dual pressure plants, these systems combine high recovery efficiency with predictable operation. Flat knit getters suit low and medium pressure conditions, where their robust design minimizes pressure drop, integrates easily into existing flow regimes, and delivers consistent recovery. For higher pressures, corrugated layers provide greater surface area and strength, maintaining efficiency under demanding conditions. Beyond capture efficiency, these systems safeguard precious metal value, reduce losses, and strengthen process economics. By stabilizing downstream performance and extending campaign life, they lower maintenance demands while supporting more sustainable, resource-responsible operations.
The corrugated getter system is designed for high-pressure operations, where stable flow and efficient metal retention are essential. Its wave-like geometry increases surface area without restricting throughput, enabling reliable collection of platinum and palladium while keeping pressure drop low. The reinforced structure withstands thermal stress and mechanical load, preserving performance even under severe conditions. Backed by sustainable manufacturing practices and responsibly sourced materials, these systems not only reduce metal losses and extend service intervals but also support customers in meeting efficiency goals while operating with greater responsibility.

Plant Cleaning
We offer two ways to turn your spent catalysts into value:
- Destructive Cleaning
End-of-life dismantling for plant equipment, whether a single unit or a series with platinum group metal (PGM) deposits. Our approach combines systematic dismantling and advanced metallurgical processes to maximize PGM recovery, optimize economic returns, and ensure sustainable resource management.
- Non - Destructive Cleaning
A non-invasive approach enables the recovery of deposited precious metals while preserving equipment’s integrity. Treatment methods are customized based on plant conditions and shutdown schedules, selecting from water-based, non-chemical, or advanced chemical processes to ensure optimal recovery and operational efficiency.
Non destructive cleaning has dual benefits to customer:
Improve efficiency of heat exchangers
Derive maximum value from recovered precious metal
Why Hindustan Platinum
Consistency
Automated sampling equipment and procedures to ensure consistent sampling, faster processing, and high throughput
Advanced Processes
Modern refining techniques to ensure the reclamation and refining of precious metals with high precision and efficiency to yield maximum recovery
Accurate Analysis:
Our world-class laboratories ensure accurate analysis through material homogenization to uniform consistency.
Advanced Techniques:
Employing a combination of classical methods (gravimetric analysis, fire assay, titration) and cutting-edge spectroscopy (ICP emission, AAS), we precisely determine precious metal content and impurity profiles.
Transparency & Collaboration:
Transparency is paramount; we offer clients direct participation in the sampling process and welcome the involvement of mutually agreed observing laboratories for complete confidence.
We provide integrated precious metal recovery and refining on a flexible toll refining or outright purchase basis. This reliably manages diverse industrial scrap and catalysts for both large and small-scale industries, with refining and recycling performed as per specific requirements.
